When someone lives almost 100 years, most of which occurred in the 20th century, you would think there would be a million photos laying around of her. In Austria there maybe. But not here in the US. As one of over 100 direct descendants of my grandmother, she didn't tend to send photos and things to her children, grand children, great grand children and so on. Therefore I only have a few terrible photos of her. I met my cousin Felix a few years ago in Washington D.C. and he told me that they had my grandmothers casket carved with all the names of the people who descended directly from her. He said the names completely covered the casket including the handles.

Photo left as a young woman. Photo right with her husband in Vienna.
