She is an art historian who has taught all over the United States as well as traveled the world many times. She retired as a tenured Professor at the University of Nebraska. She is currently working on another book. Her last book "Images of Plague and Pestilence Iconography and Iconology" is already in another printing as it was so well recieved (image and link below). However I will say it was fun and interesting at times when she went back to college to get her Masters degree while attending many of the same courses I did at the University of Maryland and at the same time! Getting to class, staying awake, doing your homework and scoring well on tests takes on dimensions you can't possibly dream of when your mom is sitting in the seat beside you!
